Outcomes of Day 2:

  • ITF emerges with a specific plan of action for moving forward for implementation of regional centres with a coordinating entity.
  • Opportunities for collaboration with other groups around the ITF agenda are explored with members of the GKP Gender Cluster and other like-minded groups for targeted activities.
  • Participants identify activity within the five key areas including agreeing to a series of indicators to monitor progress at regional and international levels in the four ITF target areas
  • Participants define personal strategies for support and opportunities for benefits of the ITF strategies for action.


Overall Outcomes:
  • In consultation with members and selected friends/collaborators, the ITF develops an overarching agenda for the next three years and develops next-stage activities for implementation of regional centres and coordinating entity.
  • Discussions are held with potential collaborators and other networks and UN organizations on moving forward the global women and ICTs Impact Agenda at the regional and international levels.
  • The ITF network is expanded.
  • The ITF Agenda for 2010 is confirmed with funding pathways and indicators identified to measure progress; next steps defined.
